It is the highest dune in Europe. More than 2 million visitors come to the top of the dune each year to admire the view of the Atlantic Ocean.

5. Porquerolles Island, Hyères Islands
The island of Porquerolles is the largest of the three islands of Hyères and is also a national park. The island has large fine sandy beaches but also a more rugged southern coast. Many tourists go there in summer to enjoy the Mediterranean climate and the activities offered on the island such as diving, cycling, swimming or hiking.
